After falling in love with Waterford's Carina flatware, I set out to find something of equal weight and beauty for a more reasonable price. I happen to come across this Wedgwood Oberon flatware when they were on clearance at $20 per place setting down from $65, a perfect deal so I bought 12 sets! I was a bit concerned that they wouldn't measure up to Waterford's heavy-weight beauty, but they are not only balanced and beautiful, but won't be bending like many less expensive flatware does. I use Ecover's powder dish detergent and plain white vinegar in the jet-dry dispenser and they come out sparkling and spot and residue free! As recommended for any 18/10 stainless, avoid the use of any detergents that contain orange or lemon as they tend to cause discoloration. Overall, I am very pleased with the quality and beauty of this flatware, and thrilled I got them at such a great price!
