I forgot that I had put them on my wedding registry! So when I received a set of these as a wedding gift in 1997, I was pleasantly surprised. They have held up great throughout the years (still using them) and I still absolutely love the simple, but elegant pattern to them. The butter knives are a good weight making them comfortable to use, I just wish they (the knives) didn't take up so much room in the silverware tray/drawer. Great set of forks for a gift, especially for that one friend that has never had a full matching flatware set. It is sturdy, stainless, and stylish. Good buy, though not the best Onedia set of flatware. If you are looking for a wedding present, this is not the right gift. If you are looking for a housewarming gift or a set for yourself, this is perfect. I would recommend, however, you consider the larger set for a service of 8 unless buying for a couple that never entertains.
