I'm not going to repeat all of the things by other reviewers. It is a very good pan. And it doesn't break your wallet. I'm trying to transition off of Teflon, and have been researching stainless steel as well as other pan-types.
I've used it about 10 times and it works great. Of course, it's not Teflon but when use with moderate heat and some oil, it performs very well. And cleans pretty easily. I'm happy to not be using Teflon.
I actually am very impressed by its thickness, it's like 1/2" inch! So I tried cooking beans in it and unlike most (thin) pans, when you try to cook beans on low, it just boils in the middle and the outside doesn't cook as well. But on low heat, even though it's bubbling a little more in the middle, the heat reaches the outer edges of the pan as well. AMAZING!!!
Another thing I didn't see mentioned is that the venting holes are optional during cooking. If you don't want venting, you can just twist the lid so that the holes don't vent.
Worth every penny!
